Veleta, Mulhacen and back

A very pretty route, which can easily be reached by can and is scheduled for around 10 hours.

From a start point at the Veleta lookout, you ascend the Veleta wall via the Lastron.

Then a more difficult hike in the direction of the Los Machos promontory to ascend to the peak of Mulhacen.

Then skirting glacial pools and tarns on the descent you can hike up the Veta Grande hill through Los Machos and back to the lookout.
