Most people come to Casa La Ladera to relax but you may fancy doing more while you are here. The most obvious activity is walking and the surrounding area offers a wide range of wonderful walks. We are situated minutes from the GR7 walking route.
Guided Walking Breaks
At Casa La Ladera we can offer you guided walks to suite your ability, fitness or just your mood. Contact us and we can tailor a package to meet your requirements. Whether it is a day, a few days, a week or longer we will be happy to arrange walks to make your stay memorable. Groups bookings are welcome.

If it is just a stroll you want then we will happily point you in the right direction for an easy walk.

Casa La Ladera is situated about 1000 metres above sea level so the going is harder up here. If you still feel confident enough to try something more challenging then we can recommend some longer walks. We can also provide a guide if you want to get the full experience of walking in the Alpujarras.

Swimming Pool
Relax in our 10 x 5 metre swimming pool with terrace.

Planned activities for Casa La Ladera
In the coming months we will be in a position to offer horse riding and quad biking, both by arrangement.

Walks and Treks

The Alpujarra features some of the most special walking opportunites in Spain. The GR-7 footpath winds through leafy forest and hillside organic olive groves from the western end of the valley near Orgiva to the far eastern end near Laujar before continuing over 12,000 kilometres to Grecce in Central Europe.

Our menu gives you snips of walking routes available. For more information contact the local Natural Parks offices in Trevelez, Orgiva or Bubion.
